2021 Tibet Naqu Expressway Project | Representative Case for High-Altitude, High-UV Climate

Core Overview
Completed in May–June 2021, this project on the Naqu–Lhasa Expressway (the world’s highest highway, at 4,500 m above sea level) is a representative application of our MMA Resin in high-altitude, high-UV, and frigid conditions. It demonstrates the exceptional durability and performance of our methyl methacrylate resin in one of the harshest road environments in the world.

Project Introduction
This project uses our MMA liquid resin as the core raw material. As a high-performance two-component acrylic resin for road marking, it is formulated to deliver strong UV resistance and low-temperature stability. It serves as the key raw material for cold plastic road marking paint, enabling the finished marking to maintain high visibility and structural integrity under intense UV radiation and extreme cold.
