Completed in November 2016, this project on the Sichuan section of the Yurong Expressway (Southwest China) demonstrates the performance of our MMA resin (also known as two-component acrylic resin for road marking) in high-performance anti-skid pavement applications. Using the trowel application & aggregate broadcasting method, our resin delivers durable, high-friction colored surfaces for high-speed highway tunnels and approaches.
Project Introduction
This case uses our MMA resin (methyl methacrylate resin / MMA liquid resin) as the core raw material for MMA colored anti-skid pavement coating with broadcast ceramic aggregate. The resin（Our cold plastic road marking resin) system offers exceptional adhesion, wear resistance, and skid resistance, meeting the demanding safety and durability requirements of high-speed highway tunnels and approaches. The colored surface significantly improves driver guidance and reduces skidding risks, especially in wet or low-light tunnel conditions.
This project validates our materials’ reliability for high-performance anti-skid pavement applications in critical highway infrastructure.
