Core Overview
Completed in May 2021, this project on the Nala Expressway – the world’s highest highway, averaging 4,500 meters above sea level – demonstrates the performance of our road marking raw materials in extreme high-altitude conditions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Using the squeegee application method, our MMA resin (two-component acrylic resin) delivers durable, high-visibility markings that withstand thin air, low temperatures, and harsh weather.
Project Introduction
This case leverages our MMA resin (methyl methacrylate resin / MMA liquid resin) as the core raw material for cold plastic road marking paint and MMA cold plastic road marking paint. Our cold plastic road marking resin system offers exceptional low-temperature curing, strong adhesion, and long-term stability, even at extreme altitudes with freezing temperatures and intense UV radiation. It maintains visibility and structural integrity year-round, ensuring reliable road safety performance on this challenging “Roof of the World” highway.
This project validates our materials’ versatility for paint manufacturers, delivering consistent quality in the most demanding high-altitude environments.
